In Radio 1, the target audience is 15-29. This means that the music will be targeted for these age gaps as this is what they usually listen to. Also during the day time, there will be on swearing or inappropriate music allowed because this is when the younger ones will be able to listen.
However, during the night, there will be swearing and explicit songs on the radio as this is when the adults will be awake and the younger ones will usually be asleep

6) to young adults
1) young presenters, colourful background
2) artists everyone knows
3)radios mix that can appeal to them
for : appeals to younger listeners, fits the requirements to cater for all, does not appeal to an older audience so is not same as a commercial audience, offers a live performance, reflects diversity life hacks, advice campaigns , live music is educating
against: not educating and informing, not classical, people think that popular music is not important
hh
it makes the live lounge more accessible and promotes the BBC and Vevo. The BBC website can be hard to negagate so people might just give up so its better that they have it on other platforms too so people that find it hard to access it a different way
